Quietudes: Quiet Music For Quiet Mind is a classical album of undiscovered, unperformed or forgotten music for solo piano. Quietudes is a part of my Piano ReDiscovered project, and it was made during the spring of Covid-19, that indirectly inspired the topic of the album: being surrounded by the the uncertainty, gloominess and noise of these unusual times, I’ve felt a need to search for a moment or place of the inner quiet. I found it in this music, and, in the spirit of the time, having no possibility to record it on an acoustic grand piano, I did it on an electric piano, with a help of some awesome sound libraries that preserved a high quality of the sound.
